I’m alive!

By DJ Kelly December 20, 2007

Wow, there certainly has been a lot of activity in the ol’ blog analytics thingies over the past week. In other words, I haven’t posted in 10 days and there has still been about the same number of people reading this blog. That of course means there is a bunch of new people reading my ramblings.

Mainly I think this is thanks to my new inclusion as a member of Blogging Canadians (as a Non-Partisan) and Progressive Bloggers. Hello to members of those two groups! I invite you to subscribe and hear a little more about what’s going on in Calgary.

Well, enough is enough and it is time for some new ramblings for all the old faithful. (And by “old” I mean you’ve been reading since shortly after I started this blog in early November.)

If you would use that classification to consider yourself an “old” reader then you probably have noticed I don’t blog about myself very often. The antics of others are so much more fun than mine! But I do want to apologise for such a long hiatus since the last post. I have been working pretty much 12 hours a day straight for the past week and haven’t had a chance to blog let alone read what news the world has to offer.

Unless the Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy can be considered news. That topic did come up at dinner last night and I was suitably surprised. After all, I’m one of a handful of non-age 9 to 14 girls that has actually watched Zoey 101. Yes, her show is number 1 in the US with 9 to 14 year olds. And yes there is honestly nothing better on during the odd Saturday morning. And now you know how I learn so many useless facts: they spawn from TV boredom.

Anyway, enough about me. And certainly that’s enough about Britney’s younger sister. On to more local high-jinks…
